"Both personally and on the behalf of all at Dundee Rugby can I thank all of you who have supported us both financially and with offers of help following the recent vandalism of our pitches at our Alloway Place Campus. In particular, thanks to my old club, Harris Academy and old friends Stobswell for their kind offers of pitch use. This is a typical gesture from our Rugby family.
This mindless vandalism will not stop us from our aim of growing the game and offering pathways for our kids to progress in our wonderful game. We are making a huge effort to have one pitch playable as our Valkyries have their last home game on Sunday and we have a lunch for 50 sponsors and supporters which will go on regardless.
Once again thank you to everyone who has contributed and be assured we will get our pitches back in play asap."
