Come along and be part of the induction of three more Club legends into the Dundee Rugby Hall of Fame. Follow the 2022 intake of Andy Nicol, Sandy Hutchison, Danie van Niekerk and Dallas Allardice and the 2019 intake of David Leslie, Chris Rea and George Ritchie.

This year the three inductees will be:

The late Tom Smith
Tom, the legendary Scottish prop who sadly passed away last year, won 61 Scotland caps, and 6 British & Irish Lions caps on 2 tours against South Africa and Australia, during his stellar rugby career.
Tom is being proposed by Shaun Longstaff, and the award is being accepted on his behalf by his son Angus.

Debbie Lochhead
Another prop, Debbie, who played for the club in the 1990s, and was one of the earliest women to be capped for Scotland, being Scotland’s 25th cap when she made her debut v England in April 1994. Debbie is being proposed by Erin Davie, captain of Dundee Valkyries.

Ian Rankin
Ian became Head Coach of the club in 2003, and during his outstanding ten year tenure, went on to lead the Club to two Scottish Cup finals, 2nd place in the Premiership, and a season in the British & Irish Cup, before going on to become President of the SRU in 2014-15. Ranks is being proposed by Bruce Aitchison, past assistant coach at our club and now one of the most sought after rugby speakers in Scotland.
