The delivery of the Strategy is being driven by Ewan Menzies of Castle Strategy. Ewan has over 3 decades of experience in sport including PE teacher at Monifieth High School, Active Schools Manager at Angus Council, and Partnership Manager at sportscotland. Since 2008 Ewan has run his own business consultancy that specialises in strategy and business planning.

Ewan is now working closely with a number of volunteers at the club to support the delivery of the tipping points on the backcast plan. They are linking in with the General Committee and Working Groups to progress actions towards delivering our future as described in the Recognition Events.

Throughout this process, they will be continuing to ask for your input from surveys, consultations, and engagements across all sections. Much of this is building on the good work done by Colin Sangster prior to the development of this strategy. Other more recent engagements include:

A consultation was run last year with over 60 members. This confirmed the strategy was indeed meeting what members, who attended, were looking for. Please follow this link to see what members said and how it ties in with the plan. We appreciate more has to be done to reach all member groups and this is ongoing.

Over December and January, we ran a survey on membership benefits to find out what you want from your membership. This is still live if you did not get a chance to complete it you can access it here. Please hurry, this survey will close soon.

There will be more work in this area going forward to listen to all our stakeholder groups, and our next consultation will be on membership benefits and fees on Monday 28 February 2022. Details to take part in this will be on the website soon for all members to join this online consultation.
